The Rroma Nation are a people in exile. Originally from the Banjara region of Northern India, they fled in the 11th century to escape the attacks of armies, first into Persia and then into Europe and Africa. After their diaspora and holocaust, they turned inward, marrying within and living within their own culture. In an attempt to maintain their lifesyle and traditions from India, they kept to themselves. Slavery and social violence followed in every country they traveled into or were taken into by slavers, until the Nazis subjected them to Ethnic Cleansing along with the Jews. Today, Rroma children still eat out of garbage cans, and the 14 million Rroma in the world are regulary attacked by skinheads, racists and society at large.
Ras Tefari was raised as a prince in his boyhood in Etheopia. He was educated far beyond what we today think of as education. He had private tutors, so those of us who are educated in the public school systems of the English speaking world have no concept of what his education was like. He studied every religion and philosophy in the world, thus receiving the knowledge of India. In India, the Vedas contain massive knowledge from as far back as 5,000 years before Christ. In the Vedas is contained a system of education about consciousness including methods of using consciousness to elucidate phsychic abilities. Ras Tefari read these. He was also aware of the type of saint in India that is called an ascended master, or one who has voluntarily left his/her body to persue consciousness as a spiritual entity. Ascemded masters, such as Babaji, Autobiography of a Yogi, leave behind bodies that appear to be alive but comotose much in the same manner that Ras Tefari's body was 'alive' but mindless for a year in a cell in Ethiopia. When he first entered the cell, he asked the priest who danced attendance upon him to leave him for 3 days and during those three days he is reported to have prayed constantly and to have talked to deceased world leaders. When the priest returned, he found the alive but inert body of Ras Tefari. Ras Tefari is the modern embodiment of Christ consciousness, worker of miracles and psychic healer. Those who call themselves Rastafarians should keep the sacredness of his entity formost in their hearts and minds as they persue their cultural expansion. It is a serious spiritual endeavor.

In my daily meditations, I always find the sweetness of Jah Rastafari near me in spirit. His presence is full of dignity and respect for all forms of feminity. Strength and courage are valued from the masculine point of view as is virility, but the feminine point of view is valued greater still. Jah Rastafari instills in all his interactions with the physical plane, great wisdom rather than judgement. How to resolve all conflict among all men and women is in his mentality uppermost at all times. The childbering aspect of the feminine is not the most important one. The most important is the qulaities of the female form or physical body that correspond to strength, courage and virility. These are compassion, kindness and responsiveness. Without the necessary contact with these feminine qualities, even the most wealthy man is destitute. The lion has no pride without the lioness. The warrior has no legitimate reason to battle without the home his woman represents. The elegant gentlemanliness of the spirit of Ras Tefari needs to be reborn everytime a Rasta man approaches a Rasta woman. Simple and complex and ornate is this defference his spirit portrays. To follow his example is to be upraised in Jah. r text.ch
